Pas De Deux Workshops & Coaching is thrilled to present two partnering workshops in collaboration with Performing Arts Workshop, located in Encinitas CA. Come over to spend a fun and exciting Sunday with us! Please see details below (read carefully):

Sunday, October 13th
11:45am - 12:45pm- Introduction to Partnering Workshop (an open adult ballet class will be taught starting at 10am for an additional fee. You will be able to sign-up the day of. For more information, please visit https://www.dancepaw.com/)
1:00pm - 2:30pm- Advanced Pas de Deux Workshop (45min barre warm-up will be taught at 12:15 prior to the workshop, included in the workshop's fee)
1- Introduction to Partnering Workshop:
Designed only for adult dancers. This will be a one hour long beginner level class, and no prior partnering experience is required. We will teach you the essence of pas de deux, through the execution of basic steps and combinations. Ladies should expect to have their weight shifted off-balance by their partners, as well as to hold positions in one leg and be lifted slightly off the ground. We will provide you with personalized attention, constructive feedback, and valuable insights to enhance your pas de deux training. As always, we provide both male and female professional dancers to work with you.
Requirements:
* Ages 18 and up
* At least 3 years of ballet training
* Pointe shoes are recommended for ladies, but not required
2- Advanced Pas de Deux Workshop:
Designed for pre-professional ballet students at an intermediate/advanced level. During this 1.5 hour long workshop we will teach you new partnering skills, while helping you polish your already existing technique. Ladies should expect being lifted over head by your partners, as well as doing one handed promenades and more complex turn combinations. We will provide you with personalized attention, constructive feedback, and valuable insights to enhance your pas de deux training. As always, we provide both male and female professional dancers to work with you.
Requirements:
* Ages 13 to 17 * At least 5 years of ballet training * Prior partnering experience * Ladies must be proficient on pointe to participate.
