What is Christmas 4 Kids?

C4Kz is a new PAW program. For the first time, Performing Arts Workshop is so pleased to participate in a charity concert by kids for kids in need produced by Coastal Music and Arts Foundation and Coastal Music Studios! All proceeds from the Christmas 4 Kidz Concert will go to benefit charities that serve children locally and internationally! This is a studio wide event.

What is the schedule?

This performance one day only - December 14th at Oceanside Performing Arts Center, Oceanside High School. It is an ALL DAY event 12:00 - 8:30pm. This is primarily a drop off and pick up event though you can stay and watch in the audience! Afternoon show 3:00 evening 6:30, dinner is provided!

Who is performing?

Almost all our PAW student classes and our friends in the Hula Ohana - Kehuili O’Kailani! We will be joined by on over 100 person kids choir onstage and the Oceanside High School Dance Team. We will offer selections from The Nutcracker and some new pieces :

Contemporary - I’ll be Home for Christmas

Tap/Musical Theater - Jingle Bells

Ballet- Christmas Come Early

All Dancers - Silent Night (with tea lights)

Supar Plum - Maggie Ho

Ballet - Mother Ginger (All of Level 1 in Nutcracker)

Hip hop - Santa is Coming for Us

Jazz - MarshMellow World

Is this a mandatory event…?

YES. It’s an excellent chance for your dancers to bond and perform in their greater community doing something they love and meet new people while giving back! If your family already has travel planned, please chat with Miss Emily!

I’m worried about leaving my dancer backstage all day, is it safe?

Absolutely. Miss Emily will be on hand all day and Coastal Music Studios has a very tight security team structure they use year after year. We will have food, fun, and games! Our team is allowed a few teachers/parents backstage. If you want to volunteer, please let Miss Emily know!
