Ladies Empowered in Art & Dance (L.E.A.D.) is a workshop for developing leadership and empowering young women ages 9-13. This week focuses on teaching leadership skills through experience, building confidence, self-knowledge, expression, and positive body image through group activities, art making, and dance.

Participants will have daily dance class in Duncan technique (Isadora Duncan was a pioneer in women's rights, art, and activism), take a field trip to the women's museum, have guest speakers who are standout women leaders in our community, and learn about themselves.

This week culminates in a Saturday performance created by participants showcasing the art they have created and discuss their experiences during the week. Family and friends are strongly encouraged to attend.
